Welcome!
I am proud to be one of the few practitioners in the UK who is qualified as both a Doctor in clinical psychology , as well as a relationship and psychosexual therapist.
I specialise in a variety of mental health concerns, and have trained in several evidence based psychological models including, but not limited to; CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), psychodynamic therapy, narrative therapy, systemic therapy, schema therapy, and personal construct therapy. I have over 20 years of experience successfully working with clients on their mental health difficulties. For an extensive list of these and my experience please head to this page.
I understand that the quality of our lives is directly related to the quality of our relationships. I enjoy working with couples to help them achieve their relationship goals. My mental health background and the psychological models I use also inform my approach to couple work. I use a combination of psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioural therapy techniques, and sensate focus therapy to inform my relationship and psychosexual therapy practice.
My personal and professional background have led me to value inclusion and equality, and I enjoy providing a space where the quieter voices can be heard. I aim to have a warm and professional approach so that we can work in a collaborative way where you feel safe enough to create the changes that you want to make.
When working with me, you can expect a mindful, proactive, and dynamic approach.
