A NOTE ABOUT THERAPY SETTINGS
I offer therapy in person (St Johns Wood location) or on Zoom.
I want to provide my clients with the best possible online experience. As such, I can provide virtual backgrounds that enhance the quality of the therapeutic process.
Should you wish to participate in therapy via Zoom, research has shown that images of the ocean and other elements of nature can encourage a feeling of peace, reduce anxiety, and increase well-being. This can also help to facilitate dialogue, and ease your therapeutic experience.
Of course, you may also choose not to have a background at all (vanilla therapy), or indeed for me to turn off my camera completely.
Having a choice can feel empowering and is especially important when, at times, you may feel some vulnerability.
